In this blog we feature Clinton Calmes, customer success manager and senior consultant for Bolt at ECI Software Solutions. We sat down with Clinton to learn more about his role within the team.
Clinton Calmes (CC): I ensure clients achieve their business operation goals by onboarding our software, building relationships, advocating for them internally, promoting product adoption, creating success plans, retaining customers, identifying upsell opportunities, gathering feedback, and improving the product based on insights, aiming for long-term satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
CC: Texas Tech University
CC: I played college golf, which led me to work in the golf industry at Cowboys Golf Club in the Dallas area for several years. This provided networking opportunities that led me to Bolt in 2016 when we were just a startup. I joined ECI in October 2020 through the acquisition of Bolt.
CC: Most work weeks consist of remote internal and external meetings, with some traveling to customer sites a few times a month.
CC: Watching our customers succeed and grow!
CC: Trade contractors who work with new home builders are focused more on building than software and processes. As a result, they may not be as tech-savvy, which can be a challenge. However, we're seeing more contractors understand the benefits of using a system and its important role in managing their business more efficiently.
CC: Listen first and answer questions with questions. Do not assume that you know how someone operates.
CC: Playing golf! And hanging out with family and friends.
