We’re excited to feature Kristin Alexander, online sales advisor with HHHunt Homes, servicing Raleigh and Wilmington in N. C. and Suffolk, Va. In this interview, Kristin shares the challenges in the role, her go-to resources, and tips for those new to the industry.
Kristin Alexander (KA): I’ve worked in the industry for over a decade. I first worked as an advisor onsite in new home sales with Centex/Pulte and HHHunt Homes before becoming an OSC. I currently manage over 100 leads a month.
KA: What I like best about working on a team is the collaboration! And I really enjoy my days off.
KA: The most challenging part of the job is doing multiple activities at one time. You’re working on different platforms, the phone will be ringing, and you have a chat coming—all at the same time!
KA: We use several tools, but Lasso, Atlas RTX, and Call Rail are the most important.
KA: For me, the assumptive or soft close are the techniques I use to set an appointment.
KA: The key resources for me are OPT and Do You Convert, as well as the management team and my partner.
KA: Communication is very important with my partner, team, and our new home advisors onsite. We use the website for everything, but we also like to get community updates monthly from our sales team. For realtors, I always like to text a realtor my contact and save them in my phone after we speak so they know I am the go-to contact when scheduling for any of our communities.
KA: I like spending time with my husband, three kids, and golden retriever Beau. You can find us on a soccer field or on our boat in the summer.
