Lasso’s OSC of the Month for November is Whitney Ghere, online sales counselor with Level Homes. They serve South Louisiana, with their head office in Baton Rouge. In this interview, Whitney shares how AI/ChatGPT can help OSCs, her go-to training resources and advice to new OSCs.
Whitney Ghere (WG): I began as an online sales counselor in August 2022, and I work and reside in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This is my first position in new home sales and real estate. I have a background in dentistry, marketing, client relations and sales, and every career path I choose has used a CRM!
WG: I manage around 100 new incoming leads a month and hundreds more existing leads throughout the month.
WG: I believe the OCS role will continue to evolve due to AI and Chat GPT use. I welcome the use of AI and genuinely think it will make our lives easier! I already use ChatGPT for email templates and catchy subject lines!
WG: The most challenging aspect of being in online sales is the numerous phone calls made throughout the day, but it is all worth it if you can connect with even one person who chooses to visit your homes and communities.
WG: The most vital tool for me as an OSC is dual screens, Lasso mass email reports to create call lists from, and CallRail in conjunction with Lasso.
WG: My go-to for closing an appointment is creating a sense of urgency and asking for the appointment, so don’t be afraid.
WG: My go-to for training is Do You Convert. DYC has changed the game for online salespeople through online support groups, one-on-one coaching, and constant support materials.
WG: My advice for new OSC’s is create your processes and follow them! Consistency is key, this gives you time to be creative and do more than expected!
WG: Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outside with my husband and our dog. We love the dog park! It’s important to stay active when you have a remote job, so I get outside or to the gym as much as possible! My husband and I are total foodies and love to travel any chance we can!
WG: It's currently football season, so sports and the TV show “Big Brother” are what’s on at my house until the unforeseeable future.
