BMF launches video to support Covid-19

The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has produced a video infographic to show safe operating guidelines for builders’ merchants while Covid-19 restrictions continue. The video infographic forms part of the BMF’s Branch Operating Guidelines during Covid-19 document published last week. The guidelines cover five key areas, and incorporate Public Health England (PHE) guidance.

The five key area that the guidelines include are head/branch office and trade counter environments, customer collections, supplier deliveries, deliveries to construction sites and tool hire. The incorporated PHE guidance focuses on social distancing, hygiene and cleaning procedures, and they are endorsed by the Construction Leadership Council, which has itself published Site Operating Procedures to facilitate safe working on building sites.

The video infographic can be viewed on the BMF’s Covid-19 online information hub.
