The black-tie event will be held on Thursday the 2 December at the Radisson Blu Hotel at Manchester Airport and feature a stand-up performance from award-winning writer, broadcaster and comedian, Mark Dolan.
Aligning with ECI’s ‘CODE’ - crave greatness, own the outcome, deliver awesome and embrace community - nearly forty businesses have been shortlisted across the four categories.
The ‘crave greatness’ category will highlight those that have delivered innovative solutions for customers and the industry, while the ‘own the outcome’ category is focused on individuals and businesses that have successfully moved a key industry topic forward over the past 12 months.
The ‘deliver awesome’ and ‘embrace community’ categories received the highest number of nominations, with the criteria focusing on teams and individuals that have stepped forward to show leadership within their community and make a difference to their customers.
Emma Davies-Carolan, director of marketing, EMEA & APAC commented:
“We are hugely excited to announce the nominations for our first ever ECI Customer Recognition Awards. Despite COVID-19 restrictions having now been lifted, 2021 has still been a challenging year for businesses and it’s been really great to see so many stepping-up and really going that extra mile.
“Unlike other industry awards, nominations did not need to be quantified by sales numbers or business growth - our main focus was looking at how well these individuals and businesses followed the ECI ‘CODE’.
“We look forward to welcoming these extraordinary businesses and individuals to our event in December.”
