As the President for ECI’s European residential home construction business, Geert-Jan den Besten is responsible for the division's activities and expansion initiatives in this region. He is passionate about developing his team, innovative technology, and the agile way of work while focusing on industry challenges and sustainable growth.
Geert-Jan den Besten joined ECI Software Solutions in December 2023 with the acquisition of Treetop, where he served as the CEO since early 2019. With over 25 years of experience with companies like KPN, Detron, HP, and Nedvest Capital, Geert-Jan is a seasoned and strong leader during organisational transformations.
Geert-Jan and his wife are high school sweethearts and live with their son, Floris, in Utrecht, close to the famous Dom-tower. Together they like to travel around the world and discover new cultures. Geert-Jan makes sure he always captures these important experiences with the most beautiful pictures.
