Course Overview

This online course is designed for both new and current MarkSystems users who are interested in furthering their Purchasing knowledge in MarkSystems. The course will provide in-depth details about the management, utilization, and best practices of the Job Cost and Purchasing aspects of MarkSystems along with an overview of how data flows through the system and to the ITK. This course is an excellent addition to your employee onboarding program!

This is a fully virtual course that allows you to complete all included classes at your own pace. No additional pre-requisites or materials are required to start this course.

Course Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Understand and maintain proper MarkSystems Data Flow with purchasing data.
• Manage and Maintain Base House Budgets.
• Manage and maintain all types of options and option budgets within the System.
• Manage and maintain turnkey pricing through vendor contracts.
• Manage and maintain material lists and product pricing.
• Release Field Work and manage VPOs.

• It is recommended that only one person utilizes each reserved seat as there is progress tracking per user that applies to classes.

• Upon completion of this course, you will receive a certificate of completion for Purchasing 101.
